Dr. Vine was truly honored to receive the Dr. Robert Paradny Teaching Award in Surgery during his time as surgical attending at Mount Sinai Hospital. The recipient of this award is chosen by the chief residents and given to the surgical attending who exemplifies the traditions of caring and teaching set forth by Dr. Robert Paradny. This award is one of Dr. Vine’s most prized possessions.

Dr. Anthony Vine, Dr. Shani Fruchter, medical student Grace Bloomfield and members of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) gathered on Capitol Hill for Lobby Day 2024. Dr. Vine led the charge, as SSAT members met with NY State Rep.
